Water polo is a fast-paced, physically demanding swimming team sport played in a pool, combining elements of swimming and handball where two teams with a goalkeeper and 6 field players compete to score more goals 🥅.
A match consists of four 8-minute quarters (according to FINA rules), with 30 seconds shot clock, and players can only touch the ball with only one hand. The sport is known for its intense action, tactical gameplay, and physical endurance. Hungary is one of the most dominant nations in water polo history. The Hungarian men's national team has won a record 9 Olympic gold medals and multiple World Championships but this sport is also popular in countries like, Serbia, Croatia, and Italy.

Differences Between Water Polo & Basketball Scoreboard
Some waterpolo clubs use the software for basketball score counters, the main difference is the shot clock time. Sometimes it's 28 seconds and 18 seconds resets for comps and 30 secodns and 20 seconds resets for FINA games. You can customize the colors, change team names and change what's displayed and what's hidden on this scoreboard clicking the gear icon in the settings.
